PlatiStone Aggregates Lanseria is our flagship quarry operation in Gauteng. In 2022, we acquired the Lanseria Stone and Sand quarry and transformed it into a high-performing, fully compliant site. Located just 5 km from Lanseria International Airport and at the heart of the Lanseria Smart City development, our quarry supports major projects in the Mogale City District Municipality.

This venture marked PlatiStone’s first conventional quarry operation and has quickly become a leader in the region. In October 2024, we successfully blasted a new granite block—named Quarry 24—within our approved mining area. This step is part of our plan to extend the quarry’s lifespan by another 30 years.

PlatiStone Aggregates Lanseria supplies high-quality commercial aggregates and granite-based sand for all construction applications. Working with our partners, we also deliver ready-mix concrete and durable bricks, meeting the diverse needs of builders and developers across Gauteng.
