PlatiStone acquired the Lanseria Stone and Sand quarry in 2022, now known as PlatiStone Aggregates Lanseria, and has successfully revived and continues to lead the quarry to its optimum level of compliance and production. Being the first conventional quarry operations venture for PlatiStone, this quarry has proven its capabilities of being the flagship operation in Gauteng. Located a mere 5km from the Lanseria International Airport, the quarry is in the heart of the Lanseria Smart City development, within the Mogale City District Municipality. In October 2024 PlatiStone Aggregates Lanseria successfully blasted a new block within the approved mining area and named it Quarry 24, this is part of the plan to increase the life of this operation by another 30 years.

PlatiStone Aggregates Lanseria supplies high quality commercial aggregates for all construction applications from a granite source. We also supply quality sand for different construction applications. Together with our partners, we are also able to supply all your ready-mix concrete and quality bricks.
